"East Hancock Elementary School passing rate: 39 As a parent I consider this to be low. Besides, the low scores, my son attended this school and was bullied by other pupils, teachers did nothing to stop it saying ' don't make a big deal of it'. I went one day to pick my son up early from school and saw the teacher just sitting on a bench ignoring the students. Teachers need to be walking around talking with the students this would cut on down on the bullying. Further more, the children get only 20 minutes to eat lunch, my son takes longer to eat and his food (packed lunch) was thrown away, during class he was a snack (a cupcake). They threw away his healthy lunch and gave him cupcake! As a result of this my son felt sick when he came home and was very hungry."
