"I feel as if I am being robbed of a good education at Parkside. I transferred my junior year from Stephen Decatur, which is a blue ribbon school. The differences couldn't be more blatant. I have personally seen drugs being dealt in the hallways, it's not uncommon for the bathrooms to reek of marijuana, there is gang activity, and there's even been an alleged rape. There are few teachers who actually seem to care about the student's future, and don't even get me started on the administration. They will chase after any straight A student and get them in trouble for the most idiotic of reasons, yet do nothing about the aforementioned issues. The guidance staff is one of the only good things about the school. If you're trying to decide whether to put your kid in private school or a Wicomico county public school, your best best would be to empty your wallet and stick them in private school."
