"This school is very ghetto. The kids can be scary and in the halls are rowdy. I, a current student at Sunrise, feel unsafe as if kids will hurt me. Last year, there were many gang fights. The Montessori Program is much better than the traditional program between academics and the people overall. I would've preferred to attend any other middle school, even Parkway. :)Mr. Webster, aka Webinator is the best!!!!"

"This school is a disgrace! I substituted here and I was worried for my safety as well as other students. The administration is terrible and lets kids roam around the hallway. When security is called nothing is done. The classrooms are very dirty and the school textbooks are outdated. This school needs a major change!"

"I’m not taking any responsibility from me or my kid but something wrong with school and teacher when last says “It is only parent and student responsibility” after 22 missed assignments and not a single parent contact. And that’s regarding gifted student"

"I have a daughter who is attending the Montessori and gem programs @ Sunrise Middle. I am on campus frequently and I find that the administration, staff and teachers are very focused on providing the foundation for every student to get a good education."

"great school!! Awesome administration and staff; academically challenging curriculum in both the magnet and traditional programs. Another year as an "A" school!!!"

"Not sure who is reviewing this school..but every parent in this district would rather cut their arm off than send their kid to this school."

"They fail kids completely- no responsibilities. Since we took our kid away 1,5 year ago- he’s straight A student with very strong achievements."
