Million Dollar House in Wilmington, NC

Welcome to coastal North Carolina’s most iconic waterfront residences, a West Indies-inspired masterpiece set high on a bluff overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean. You might recognize it from TV, as the home’s interior was the film setting for Madeleine Stowe’s Grayson Manor in “Revenge.” And it’s no wonder; precision craftsmanship can be found in every square inch designed by architect Charles Dietsche. Soothing shades of gray, sea salt, and aquamarine hues effortlessly contrast with the dark Brazilian walnut floors underfoot and the coffered ceilings, exposed beams and louvered transom windows above. That sense of grandeur with a distinct coastal flare continues throughout the great room flanked by spacious common areas, a south wing that features the kitchen, formal dining area, butler’s pantry, reading nook, and home office. The gourmet kitchen is exquisite, complete with a 6-burner range framed by a massive handcrafted vent hood and unique recycled-bottle Vihara backsplash. The living area is anchored by a parlor with a floating wet bar, 945-bottle, climate-controlled wine cellar, fireplace and waterfront billiards room. Another dramatic feature are the great room’s sliding doors that open onto the poolside veranda that showcases an infinity pool that blends seamlessly into the blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic. Upstairs, the master suite features a glorious built-in headboard, fireplace, and spectacular views of the sea; the master bath is bathed in luxury, with shimmering glass tile shower, classic vanities and a soaking tub. The second floor includes a full guest suite with kitchenette, laundry, bath and an adjoining bunkroom, and the third floor tower provides flex space for something special, like a state-of-the-art fitness center. Additional outdoor amenities include lush landscaping, spa, outdoor fireplace, and putting green. The waterfront manor is offered completely furnished, decorated, and turn-key.
